Hidden Kiss M&M Cookies

Happy Easter!! I woke up this morning at 5 am on this beautiful day ready to bake! This morning I made a rosemary olive oil focaccia bread (recipe to come). It turned out amazing and it was my first time to make bread other than banana bread. I actually measured every single ingredient. I felt like an expert.
Mike and I exchanged Easter baskets this morning and he gave me a ton of hershey kisses. I saw something like these on pinterest and decided to give it a try. They turned out very good but soo rich. If you love chocolate, you will love these. I'm going to take these to my Granny's house tonight for Easter. Let's see how much my family enjoys these and the bread!

Hidden Kiss M&M Cookies

Ingredients:

4 mini bags m&ms
2 cups flour
1 cup margarine – softened
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 bag of Hershey Kisses
Chocolate Drizzle (recipe below)

Directions

Preheat over to 375 degrees f.
In a large bowl, beat butter, sugars, and vanilla until well blended.
Add the flour and blend until smooth.
Stir in the m&ms.

Spray a large cookie sheet. Mold about a tablespoon of cookie dough around each unwrapped kiss, covering completely. Shape into balls.

Bake 12-13 minutes.
Cool for a few minutes and then move to a max papered surface. Place the cookies close together so you won’t waste any of the chocolate drizzle : ).

Chocolate Drizzle preparation:
Chop about 15 kisses into 4’s. Place in plastic zip lock bag. On medium heat, heat in microwave for 30 second increment, until melted.

Cut a tiny tiny tip of the corner off of the bag. (The first try I cut too much so it wasn’t much of a drizzle. Second serving of chocolate drizzle worked better)
Drizzle over each cooled cookie and let cool. Enjoy!!

This desert was so good. I had way too many last night! I have one in my lunch waiting for me...now to finish these apples first and then reward myself :-)
